6. Changes, Cancellations & Force Majeure

We may reschedule, modify, or cancel a course due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, university closures, regulatory changes, public health events). Our liability is limited to the refund of amounts paid to IDIT; we are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs. See Cancellation & Refunds for details.

7. Travel & Visas

Participants are responsible for passports, visas, insurance, flights, and compliance with travel/health requirements. We recommend travel insurance that covers course changes and medical needs.

1. Scope

This policy explains deposits, balances, cancellations, rescheduling, substitutions, and refunds for IDIT programs.

2. Payments

  • Deposit: $1,000 USD non-refundable to reserve your seat.
  • Balance: $12,900 USD due 4 weeks before start. Unpaid balances may result in seat release.

3. Participant Cancellations

  • > 60 days before start: refund 100% of balance paid (deposit non-refundable).
  • 31–60 days before start: refund 50% of balance (deposit non-refundable).
  • ≤ 30 days before start or no-show: no refund.
  • Reschedule (one-time):
    • Request > 30 days before start → move to a future session within 12 months ($250 USD admin fee; deposit applied).
    • Request ≤ 30 days → reschedule subject to availability ($500 USD admin fee).
  • Substitution: another licensed dentist may take your seat ≥ 14 days before start (must meet prerequisites and submit documents); $150 USD admin fee.

4. Visas & Travel Disruptions

Visa denials or travel issues are treated as participant cancellations. If you provide proof > 30 days before start, we will offer a one-time reschedule within 12 months (admin fee applies). We strongly recommend travel insurance.

5. Provider-Initiated Changes

If IDIT cancels or postpones a session, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid to IDIT or a free reschedule to a future session. We are not responsible for third-party costs (airfare, hotel, visas).

6. Force Majeure

No refunds for cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies, strikes, university closures). We will reschedule your training at no additional tuition charge.

7. CE Credits & Content Changes

CE allocation (≈50 AGD-PACE*) and curriculum details may change. Changes in CE hours or hotel logistics do not, by themselves, constitute grounds for a refund.

*The University has completed the application for AGD PACE provider status. Once approval is officially granted, CE credits will be retroactively issued for this session.

8. Refund Method & Timeline

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14–30 business days of approval.
